our story

Blanco, TX-based Upcycle Organics was founded with the mission to provide comprehensive solutions for harvesting rainwater and building topsoil for productive food-based systems of agroforestry. Upcycle Organics recognizes that minimizing waste and producing healthful food is a shared interest for all and provides solutions to achieve both ends.

As a single source, Upcycle Organics takes pride in forging strong client relationships, increasing agricultural yields, utilizing ecologically sound methods and optimizing underutilized space for food production. Our mission is achieved through the implementation of three cross-functional business groups:

  • - agricultural support services and training
  • - agricultural equipment and supply
  • - remote site systems-design and construction

Our tools:

  • - partnerships
  • - water harvesting
  • - soil production
  • - beneficial decomposers and feed for fish and poultry
  • - holistic management
  • - aquaponics
  • - bio-intensive mini-farming
  • - food forests
  • - long-term planting and financial planning
  • - carbon credit accounting

Our menu of regenerative methods are open source to all who care to learn. They have been given to us and only asked for the dissemination and application of such methods in return, so read up and let’s get to work. We strive to connect our resources with you. Your homework is to assess your resources before we get involved with your back yard or your back 40 acres. Join us for structured experiential education as we build food systems based around the farmer not the tractor. We grow the food to feed the farmer and it is simply cheaper than fuel to feed the tractor so our methods come from necessity to survive and thrive in an increasingly costly economy.

“The country needs and, unless I mistake its temper, the country demands bold, persistent experimentation.
It is common sense to take a method and try it: If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.” - FDR
